About Me

Born and raised in Cape Town,
South Africa, I achieved my Birth Doula Certification in March 2000. Three months later we moved to England and settled
in Basingstoke. Within three years I completed a Higher Diploma in Antenatal Education and although I work primarily
as a birth doula, I also facilitate antenatal courses on behalf of the National Childbirth Trust (NCT).

I am a mum of three children and to date, have had the
pleasure of doula-supporting more than 70 women during
late pregnancy, labour and birth. I believe that the memory of childbirth should be protected and am committed to creating
a safe environment for birth (both physically and emotionally) in which a woman and her partner can achieve a satisfying
and positive experience of childbirth and smooth transition
to parenthood.

Why Trinity?

Some thought has gone into choosing a name that adequately represents my doula service. Firstly, the name has spiritual significance on a personal level, and secondly, I believe that Trinity signifies the threefold partnership created by mum, dad, and baby or alternatively mum, dad, and birth doula - all working towards achieving a good birth experience.
